It began in 1987, with Dan Ersland and Big Dave. 29 years later, in 2016, their grandchildren made a documentary starring the annual hunting camp the two had started. 5 years after that, in 2021, the tradition, of which had hit snags with life changes and the Covid-19 pandemic, returned.
More than a generic hunting camp, it's another home. It's tradition. It's family. It's our village by the hills.
